Paying Alabama Power Bills
Alabama Power Company offers its residential and commercial customers flexible and convenient ways to pay their bills. Once you enroll as a customer, you can choose to pay your electricity bills via any of the following methods.
Customers have two options to pay Alabama power bills online. They can choose to login and pay their bills or pay without logging into their accounts. To login and pay, go to www.alabamapower.com/mypayment and sign in to your account with your credentials. Click bill pay then enter the amount you want to pay and the source of payment. Verify the details then finalize the transaction.
If you select to pay without logging in, you will be required to enter your account number and the access code from your bill. You can pay via your checking account or your savings account. Payments made online are posted to customers’ accounts the same day.
Credit Card Payments
For a nominal service fee of $2.25, you can make credit card payments using Bill Matrix, an automated payment service. You can submit your payment by phone or over the internet 24/7 days a week. You will be required to provide your card number along with valid Debit/ATM, credit card, or personal checking account information.
Alabama Power Company also has a free Auto Pay service. As a customer, you can enroll in Autopay and authorize payment for your monthly bills to be deducted from your checking or savings account. You can sign up for Autopay by going to www.alabamapower.com/mypayment. You will be required to provide your name, create log in credentials, and accepted the terms of service.
When you enroll, you will continue to receive you monthly bill as usual but instead of seeing “Please pay by” imprinted on your bill, you will see the date when your bank account will be debited for the amount due.
Pay via mail
As a customer, you can also send mail payments to Alabama Power Company so as to pay your bills. Simply write your check or money order then mail it to the address below. Make sure that you write your account number behind the check so that your payment can be processed quickly. Mail payments take 5-7 business days to be posted to your account.
